DAY 1: CHIANG MAI - FANG (-/L/D)

Departure from Chiang Mai to Mae Taeng District.

Time to take care of elephants at Eco Elephant Camp in Ban Muang Kut. You will learn to feed them, how they behave and how to take care of them. It is the perfect time for some amazing group photos.

Then continue to Fang town. Today for lunch you will enjoy the famous "Khao Man Khai" in a restaurant set amid a beautiful garden.

Time to check in at Phumanee Lahu Home Hotel with a welcome cup of tea while you learn about the history of “Doi Pu Muen”.

After, we head to Fang hot spring where the group can take some relaxing time.

Dinner will be Lahu Style and you will also join the dances with the Lahu people.

DAY 2: DOI PU MUEN - TA KHAO PUK - CHIANG MAI (B/-/-)

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Doi Pu Muen, on the high mountain, to visit a community of the Lahu tribes. Try the “Na Than Chom”, the tea variety given by King Rama IX to the Lahu people of Doi Pu Muen to replace the opium cultivation. Experience the way of life of this community and learn how to process the tea. Time to taste an authentic Lahu style lunch made from bamboo spout cooking.

Back at the hotel sample some tea varieties before checking out.

Its time to say goodbye to Fang town. Return to Chiang Mai hotel or airport.
